Mesilla Valley Timebank

The Mesilla Valley Timebank is a community exchange system where time is the currency. Members share their talents and skills with one another, earning time credits for helping others that can be exchanged for services they need. By fostering meaningful connections between neighbors and building networks of mutual support, the timebank makes our community more sustainable and resilient in the face of environmental, economic, and social challenges.
Participatory Mapping

Participatory Mapping brings neighbors together to create maps that tell the real story of their communities. Instead of outsiders deciding what matters, residents themselves identify what makes their neighborhood unique; the good, the challenging and everything between.
Participatory Budgeting

Participatory Budgeting puts real money in the hands of real people. Instead of officials making all the decisions behind closed doors, community members get to decide how to spend funds.

The Really Really Free Market is exactly what is sounds like; everything is free, no strings attached. Neighbors bring items they no longer need and take what they can use, creating a gift economy based on mutual aid rather than trade.
